Design for the conversion of an existing brick building - formerly used as a corner store, storefront church, and Wings and Things - into an artist studio and office for a small technology start up. Raw yet refined, the interior exposes the existing roof structure and clads the walls in alternating drywall and plywood. The gallery-style lighting and open floor plan creates a flexible space for the creation and display of the artist’s sculptural paper-based works and installations.
